About
I'm Jason Michaud, Founder & CEO of Stardust — and I'm done hiding who I am.
Raised in Dubreuilville, a village of 900 in northern Ontario, I was born with cleidocranial dysplasia and ADHD, and told most of my life that space wasn't for me. I built a life in tech, lost everything, and came through depression to found Stardust in 2019 — because what's left after an asteroid hits is stardust. We are all stardust.
Today Stardust is a global space company advancing education, workforce development, and the human side of exploration. Through Stardust Odyssey we've reached hundreds of thousands of students across MENA, North America, and beyond, carried by a team, a crew, and 250+ ambassadors in 50+ countries.
I've represented Canada at World Expo in Dubai and Japan, addressed the United Nations alongside the King of Eswatini, engaged with the White House National Space Council, and collaborated with NASA, Lockheed Martin, Blue Origin, MDA, ispace, the Canadian Space Agency, and Altec. With 80+ parabolas of microgravity, lunar, and Martian gravity flight, I'm training toward becoming a private astronaut.
I'm also a father of two — the reason the future isn't abstract to me — and an open advocate for mental health. My dream is a generation who get to be their true, authentic selves. The Stardust Generation.
After the storm, the good weather always returns.
