This is the first Stardust Challenge session we have run in Pakistan, and it is a pilot: one evening, one room, thirty-two places.
The Stardust Challenge is our global competition. Students form small teams, pick one of eight categories, and work up an idea worth building. It is free to enter and free to take part, and it is open to anyone in school, from primary through to the last year of secondary.
On the night we will explain what the Challenge is and what a good entry actually looks like, you will choose a category and find the people you want to work with, and you will get your first idea recorded before you leave. Ahmed Hassan and the Crema Lounge team welcome everyone, and then Jason Michaud, our founder, joins live from Canada with Shinul Paul and Shifa Zahra.
Bring a parent or guardian if you are under 18. They are welcome to stay for the whole thing, and plenty of the best questions we get come from them.
Registering runs through a free Stardust Odyssey account. That is on purpose: it is how a parent or guardian gets a permission page of their own, where they decide what their child may do with us, including whether they may appear in photographs taken on the day.
